Terms & License Agreement

End User License Agreement. Effective 30 September 2026. Replaces the version updated 1 December 2021.

1. Agreement

This agreement is between you and Yarra Audio Pty Ltd, ACN 654 821 459 (“we”, “us”). It covers every Yarra Audio product, paid or free, including its sounds, presets, software, updates and documentation (the “Product”). By buying, downloading, installing or using a Product, you agree to it.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Product. You may install it on computers you own or control, but only you may use it. The Product is licensed, not sold.

You may use the Product to make music, audio and MIDI, including for commercial releases, film, games and live performance, without paying royalties. What you create is yours.

3. What you may not do

You may not:

  • sell, share, rent, give away or otherwise distribute the Product, or transfer your licence;
  • use its sounds or presets, in original or modified form, in any other sample library, preset bank, virtual instrument or similar product;
  • reverse engineer or decompile its software, except where the law allows; or
  • get around any licence check or copy protection.

4. Ownership and other software

We own all rights in the Products. Some Products need software from other companies, licensed separately: CAMADA needs HALion 7 or the free HALion Sonic 7 (Steinberg), and P511 needs the full version of Kontakt 6.6.1 or above (Native Instruments). HALion and Kontakt are trademarks of their owners, and we are not affiliated with them.

5. Consumer rights, warranty and liability

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under other consumer laws, that cannot be excluded. Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows: the Product is provided “as is”; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability for a Product is limited to the amount you paid for it.

6. Ending the licence

Your licence ends if you seriously breach this agreement or receive a refund. You must then stop using the Product and delete all copies. Music you made while licensed stays yours.

7. General

Purchases are handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record; see our Refund Policy. We may update this agreement, and the effective date above shows the current version. This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia; if you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
